Sooo - what a fun and wonderful week!: pictures of all 19 of us (in 27 degree weather with 3 babies, 3 two-year olds, etc), blessing baby Dawson Jonathan Burrup (Jon and Nicole's) on Sunday the 29th, sealings in the temples, lots of food, games, new toys, movies, cartoons, etc. Thanksgiving Day - included a wide Tingey family Thanksgiving dinner (with quite the spread!) at the Pittsburg Chapel and included Grandma and Grandpa Great (Tingey) and Great Uncle Marcel and Great Aunt Joy Tingey (and their son Christopher and Wendy's family - from Vancouver/Portland area). It was preceded by a Turkey Bowl (flag football with Mike's ward), Tingey Turkey Trot (at Sunset Elementary School bike/running path). It was a little cold, but made the hot chocolate and hot cider a big hit.
Updates:
Daddio (Grandpa Byron) - aging and getting slower, but still a tease. Work is a bit of a challenge to get things done. He loves his family and church work.
Susan (Grandma Burrup) - what a fun and wonderful woman of a faith, wisdom and skill! She kept us organized and focused on important things.
Mike and Kirsten, Tanner, Austin, Weston, Abigail: busy kids with creativity and energy, fun parents, smiley Aubrey. Happy Birthday Tanner and Austin on 22nd. Kirsten presented for a 5th Sunday lesson in her Union Ward re: protecting our families and homes and selves from pornography. (She did a marvelous job, and successfully fought off laryngitis!).
Steve and Janae, Nate, Aubrey, Ty (Tyler): here from Washington DC (flew in to Seattle, Grandma Burrup picked them up. Fun and busy kids, having a great time, except for a few hair pulling experimental activities, cool toys, including a new battery powered truck, etc.
Jon and Nicole, Clara and Dawson: little pink eye, but fun on the grandpa coaster (Aubrey also) (Grandpa's arm swing), and fun games, new toys, etc., etc., and a little vomiting / gastroenteritis. We even got to play Spy Fall, Spike Ball, etc.
Laurel - home from BYU, as lovely and fun as ever with patience and kindness toward those busy and sometimes loud nieces and nephews. Life is exciting (but sometimes confusing)!
Christian - home fresh from the mission (Peru Lima East), active with lacrosse, friends, YSA, and even went on a date!, etc. He is fun to be around! And helps push us to be better.
We have so much to be thankful for! There are lots of good things happening, exciting times now and ahead, and again, so many many blessings!
We love you all!
Daddio and Sus-Mom
